Mrs. Stewart came to Northeastern Local School District in 2001 as the Media Specialist at Northeastern HS. Prior to that she taught Visual Arts at Springfield City Schools and London City Schools.
She received her BFA in Graphic Design in 1986 from Bowling Green State University before pursuing her teaching certificate from Wright State in 1992. With a passion for technology and collaboration with all learners she went on to get her Master’s in Library/Media from Wright State. Currently she shares her time between Northeastern and our sister school, Kenton Ridge.
Mrs. Stewart can often be seen around the district at athletic and extra-curricular events with her husband Scott. She is passionate about working with students on how to extend their learning by integrating technology effectively. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, taking photos/video and enjoys a good book.

I am the youngest of 6 children. All of my brothers and sisters graduated from Northeastern High School except me, I attended South Vienna and Northeastern High School until December of my senior year. My family moved and I graduated from Yellow Springs High School.
I worked as a library aide at South Vienna Elementary/Middle School for 14 years, and I was the Study Hall Monitor for 4 years at Northeastern High School. Currently I am a Library Aide at Northeastern High School.
I really enjoy working at Northeastern High School and it is nice to be back in the Library. I am also the Co-Director of The Kids Hope USA program at South Vienna Elementary.
My husband and I have 2 daughters and a 1 son that graduated from Northeastern High School. I am now a Grandma of two wonderful little boys and two precious little girls.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family, going to church and serving God. I enjoy cooking, baking and crafting.
