High School Principals' Message

Dear Students and Families, 

On behalf of the teachers and staff of Northeastern Middle School and High School, we would like to welcome you to the 2024-25 school year.  We hope that you have had a relaxing and restful summer break and are now ready to begin a new school year. 

These years in middle and high school are exciting and rewarding times in a student's life. However, just like anything else in life, the effort you put in determines what you get out of it. Therefore, we encourage every student to come prepared to learn every day.  We also encourage each student to get involved while at NEMS/NEHS.  Please feel free to join a club, participate in sports, participate in the arts, attend dances, games, and all other school activities. 

At Northeastern, we pride ourselves on our strong academic standards.  We also strive to provide a safe and caring environment for all students to learn at their highest level.  The staff at Northeastern Middle School is dedicated to student success and will go above and beyond to help each student in any way possible. At Northeastern, our students SOAR: Show Respect, Own their Actions, Accept Differences, and Realize their Potential. By demonstrating these attributes daily, they are not only showing success as students here, they are preparing for a successful life after high school is finished. We encourage parents, staff, and students to consistently use this language to reinforce what it means to be a Jet.
